I am getting married in May and was supposed to Paris but with a war
going on we have decided not to go to Europe.Our second choice is to
go snow skiing but are having trouble finding  somewhere to go in mid
May.I need suggestions on where to go.

I also know from personal experience that some of the resorts that
show TBD for the closing date usually stay open at least until the end
of May -- and sometimes have skiing on July 4th. Mammoth Mountain and
Alpine Meadows fall into this category.

Portillo, Chile won't work for May.  The resort doesn't even open
until June 14th. It's a fantastic place, though. I skied there last
August.
