Where can I find a list of independent television production companies in the UK?

Dear meerschaum,

My research revealed that there is no comprehensive free list
available on the Web, but the British "Producers Alliance for Cinema
and Television" (PACT) publishes an annual directory of independent TV
production companies with contact details of hundreds of companies,
their production credits, projects in development and company
specialisation list.
The price of the current edition is £30.75, respectively £15.38 for
PACT members. You can order it direct from PACT by printing and
mailing this form to them or by sending an e-mail:
