We need to find someone to visit Atlanta City Hall each month, and to
also either visit neighbouring municipalities/county offices within
the greater Atlanta area or obtain the information through electronic
means, to gather monthly building permit data information. This data
will be published in a new regional construction newspaper serving
Atlanta. We are only interested in reporting on projects valued at
$100,000 or more. Our requirements are for permit number, dollar value
of project, type of building (with brief description if appropriate),
contractor/owner's name, and building address. My challenge is to
find someone to do this job reliably and as inexpensively as possible.
A reasonable answer to this question will be to refer me to a
reliable source for 'advertising' for this kind of work in the Atlanta
area or to develop a shortlist/group of candidates to handle it. My
home office is nowhere near Atlanta. Note the candidate must live
in/near Atlanta, because for Atlanta City Hall at least, the data we
are seeking is not available in electronic format -- the data gatherer
must personally visit City Hall to get the information.
