I am looking for a reputable and affordable Masters program offering a
masters degree in business administration and or information systems.
I am looking for a program that offers either on-line classes or a
one--night a week program similar to the programs offered by
University of Arizona Eller School of Business and Arizona State
University. I would like to avoid University of Phoenix if possible.
(I would need to complete this degree from Tucson, Arizona)

Hi, Clueless ~

Tucson's a great place to live (except maybe July and August) - I live
there myself.

First question: What do you feel is "affordable" ??? Eller has either
an evening or e-classroom course (or a combination of both). Their
tuition is in the neighborhood of $20K USD per year, which is
comparable to any other Business School's yearly tuition.

Thanks,
Serenata

Further clarification re: Eller.

Their resident program is $11,490 a year ... the $20k was non-resident
tuition.

Sort of a bonus for Arizona residents, as Eller is an excellent school
with an impressive list of names among its Alumni.

Hello, Clueless...

I'm going to offer a suggestion here in the comments, since the
institution in question is not yet accredited in the US.

Athabasca University, in Alberta, Canada, is one of the world leaders
in distance education (my wife will be continuing her degree there in
a few months). Their MBA program was the world's first online MBA,
and currently graduates more MBA's than any other school in the
country. They are also ranked among the nation's top three programs
by "Canadian Business" magazine (Nov. 2001). They offer an executive
MBA, an MBA in IT management, and various others.

Their fees are charged in Canadian dollars, which provides a great
advantage to US residents given the current exchange rate. As of
today's date, the cost for non-Canadians is $38,969 CDN/$26,511
US...for the entire program! For most students, this represents 2 1/2
to 3 years, but you can take up to six.

For complete information, please consult the website of Athabasca's
"Centre for Innovative Management" at the link below:

Good luck!
