Need answer by March 31st if possible
I need to get information on airport departures in Canada.
Specifically, how many people left on a flight from the following
airports in 2002 or 2001:
Vancouver,Calgary,Edmonton,Regina,Winnipeg,Toronto,Ottawa,Montreal,Quebec
City,Halifax,St-John's,Fredericton.
I need departure info only. Arrival numbers are of no interest to me.

The Department with the statistics you are asking about is charging a
fee for the reports, approx C$31.  If you are interested I can give
you the necessary websites where you can contact them and get the
reports.  The full reports are not published on their websites only
extracts.

If interested, would you like me to post it as an appropriate answer?

I am aware of Statistics Canada's service and I chose to use Google
instead partly to give the service a try and also because I believe
the information should be available elsewhere. Please let me know if

Another point. I'm actually looking for the approximate number of
people that go thru the security screening every year at these
airports (ie all departing passengers go thru xray and metal
detector).
I hope that this may give you a different angle of research, a
different starting point.

I have only been able to locate the annual number of departing
passengers for the Victoria International Airport for the year 2002.

Unfortunately the data that I was able to locate for Calgary, Edmonton
and Vancouver is not broken down into departures and arrivals.
