Hi julie99-ga,

No, there is not a way to see who is checking
your AIM buddy info. When your AIM client
signs onto the AOL server it uploads a buddy
info message to the server. The server then
responds with this info whenever another client
requests it. Your client does not receive the
  request directly.

I'm basing my knowledge on my experience writing
AIM clients. I've used documents such as:

http://search.cpan.org/author/ARYEH/Net-AIM-1.22/AIM.pm
  - a perl module that speaks the AIM TOC protocol

http://gridley.acns.carleton.edu/~straitm/final/
 - a discussion of AIM protocols.

I do understand your wish to know who is pulling
your information though. Because of it, I'm working
on http://www.imwatching.com. It works on a different,
  but related problem.

Yes, but by linking your AIM profile to something like subprofile, you
can see who is looking. The imwatching.com link didn't go to
anything...what is that for?

Hi julie99-ga,

  I'm sorry -- it is imwatching.net

Beware that the site is still in a pre-release
  stage.

And yes, your profile can link to a site like
subprofile, which will record the http referrer
information and produce stats accordingly. But
even that requires somebody to click on the link
  returned by "Get Budy Info..."

Even using a web stats service like subprofile,
there is no absolute way to know who is requesting
your AIM info. But perhaps their services are
sufficient (or nearly sufficient) for your needs.

Does that help you out? Please let me know.

Sincerely,
dogbite-ga

tisme-ga doesn't know the answer so he/she put down some answer. I
would goto http://www.subprofile.com/ and get a profile from there.
You can find out who is checking your AIM info.

P.S AIM profiles are not stored in a server but in your own computer.
