To the researcher: Statistically speaking . . . --> What is the best time (not day) to post auctions on eBay, taking into consideration world time differences. The best time would be when the most bids are placed / when the highest priced bids are placed. These are statistics. Please include all sources/reasons. Tip's offered. | |

Everyone may have a different opinion, but I would suggest listing items at 8:00PM PST (CALIFORNIA TIME) or 11:00PM EST (NEW YORK TIME). The reason is simple, most bids occur within last 5 minutes of the auction. Many times I wanted to win an item on ebay, but the seller listed the item at 11:30PM PST which was 2:30AM EST (my time) and I just didnt' have enough energy to wait that late to bid. The seller missed many East Cost potential bidders by listing an item so late. Also many sellers miss potential buyers by listing auctions early morning when most people commute to work and have no way of bidding. Again, best time is late evening, when most people are home after dinner getting ready for bed. They logon to ebay and bid. You get most exposure at that time. |

also, always bid 3 seconds before the auction closes, this way you are guaranteed to win against all those automatic bidding software programs like AuctionTamer.com |
