This is a compensation question to thank you for easing my concerns
about my earlier question. Thought I might have had virtual BO or
something for a while there!

"Methuselah" (Mathusala or Mathusale), one of the Hebrew patriarchs,
was the son of Enoch, father of Lamech, and grandfather of Noah, his
name being mentioned seven times in the Bible (Genesis 5:21,22,
25,26,27; 1 Chronicles 1:3; Luke 3:37).  He died at the age of 969
years, in the year of the Flood (Gen. 5:21-27; 1 Chr. 1:3), making him
the oldest man recorded -- as there is no record of any other human
being having lived this long, the name "Methusula" has become a
synomyn for longevity.

Thanks Jack. I'm gunna have to buy shares in a vineyard if lot of g/a
researchers keep gulping the chardoney at this rate. I didnt realize
how thirsty you lot were and didnt realize what I started. I think I
shouted Pinky a drink and a precident was set. Never mind I guess I
could be doing worse with my money as "she who must be obeyed" says.

best for that and on my next long flight in a few days I'll read up a
little on this Methusula chap. I'm sure he must have known something I
