Where and more importantly WHEN can I purchase a copy of the Dublin Golden Pages on CD? I am aware that the same information is available on-line via Dublin Golden Pages On Line. I am also aware that a new Golden Page CD is overdue for release. I want ONLY the newly released (about to be released) CD. This is a relatively easy one, but two critera must be met to correctly answer this question: 1: Where do I get the Dublin Golden Pages CD? (both physical and online addresses telephone number etc) When Can I get this CD specific date if at all humanly possible? | |

Bobbie I do appreciate your help but, what you have provided is exactly what i did not want. I've already been there and done that. And am sick and tired of listening to background music and make selections of pressing 1, 2, or 3 for this that or the other. I tried to very clearly state what I wanted and obviously I have not communicated satidfactorily. Allow me to repeat spcifically that I want: 1 The name and online and physical address of the supplier. 2 The date of the release of this new version. I will be in Dublin in about 2 weeks time and am too busy to make these sorts of calls or do the research myself. I should have added to my request that I do not want links or phone numbers for further information. I just wanna buy the CD, if and when they bring it out. And/or to find out if it is already out. Thanks To answer my question satisfactorily you need to tell what I asked for in the first place. I know you are trying to be helpful and I appreciate that but I need links and 1800 numbers at the moment like I need a hole in the head! Thanks and my apogogies if I offend you with this blunt reply. Luv ya still from Roger. |

Hi Bobby, Roger here. In re-reading your answer in part; with less pressure and rush happening. I think I may have been a little "harsh" on you. I say this because you have provided me with the physical address and contact phone numbers, and also the online address etc. You have also given me the lots of other useful links etc that when I have the time I can probably follow up. However you have not confirmed a release date of the new product or answered part 2 of my question. Obviously this is not your fault that you are unable to do this at this point in time. Would you accept my apologies for my earlier "bluntness" and suggest to me if I should leave the question open for another day or two in the hope that you may get a postitive reply to your email. I am a man of "action" and I have a lot of faith in you G/A guys & gals and in the short time I've been around have come to expect answers will always come almost instantly. Paf, Pinky and indeed your goodself and others have spoilt me rotton with such quality (quick) answers. That I guess I got just a little bit too impatient. I await your further comment in due course and when convenient. Kind regards from: Roger |

Thanks journo! Another day another lesson (for me)! I'll know not to put the "G" word in a question any more. There is no rush I am not departing overseas for another 3 days yet. As long as I can file all my valuable answers securely away before I depart I will be happy. I will keep a lookout for your answer "in due course", as they say in the public service. Kind regards and Thank you from Roger. (p.s if u see this comment let me know next time u communicate. I say this because I wonder how you will know I have replied to you in this section.) |

Dear Roger, I completely understand your impatience as I myself, am very impatient. I suggest you leave the question open for a few more days. I may get a response to the inquiry I sent out or perhaps another researcher may have better luck than I in obtaining the release date of the Golden Pages CD-ROM. Frequently where one researcher does not succeed in answering a question, another comes along and answers it effortlessly. There are 500 qualified researchers at Google Answers and Im sure many of them are working on your question right now. We dont always lock a question as we work on it. As long as your question is open there is still a chance that one of us will find you your answer. Some answers just take longer than others. Sincerely, Bobbie7 |

Hi bwll77-ga, I've got in contact with Golden Pages and unfortunately, they don't have a release date for the CD yet, and aren't announcing one right now. As you already mentioned, the new version is overdue for release - it was originally supposed to be february - and the company representative I spoke to said they weren't announcing another date until they were 100% sure it would go ahead. FYI, the ads are still running on Irish radio announcing that the Golden Pages is closing soon, for any companies who have yet to place their ads. Sorry I couldn't get better news for you. regards, cobrien-ga |
