Hi jim7193,

I've tried to help you obtain Zinc Zap, but have been unsuccessful - I
can only pass along what I have found out and offer a ray of hope.

I phoned Optimum Compounding Pharmacy in Ontario, Canada because they
list Zinc Zap on their website and I spoke to the pharmacist. He told
me that no pharmacy in North America can legally fill a prescription
from the UK. However, he did say there are two types of Zinc Zap. The
Zinc Zap with steroid needs a prescription, but it would be possible
for you to order the Zinc Zap without steroid (he could send that one
to you). Also, he said there is a product called Skin Cap, which is
very similar to Zinc Zap and he thought you may be able to obtain that
in the UK. He didn't know of any pharmacy in the UK who sells Zinc
Zap.

Here is his contact information:

TEL: 905-883-6940
FAX: 905-883-6941

Searching online, I found only two "compounding" pharmacies (they have
the ability to mix their own drugs) who may be able to help you if
Australia can accept your prescription. Apparently, there are no
compounding pharmacies in the UK.

I'm sorry I don't have better news, perhaps another researcher will
have better luck. I'll keep my fingers crossed that at least one of
the Australia connections pans out for you.

Hi again jim7193 - I'd like to add a bit to my above info.

Zinc Pyrithrone is the name of the Zinc Zap which is steroid-free and
available to you. It sells in Canadian funds for about $ 30.00 per
120ml. The product with Clobetasol is the one that is not available to
you because it requires a prescription.
