This was an interesting search. I began with Google Groups, since I've
found newsgroup posts to be very useful in the past when I've answered
questions about wristwatches in movies.
"It was most likely product placement, as was the case in XXX ( Samuel
L. Jackson) and The Bourne Identity (Matt Damon). Both films featured
Tag Heuer watches to some degree. I haven't been able to rent XXX yet
due to high demand for the DVD, but I saw The Bourne Identity in the
theatre & couldn't count how many times his quartz chronograph
appeared - rather blatantly. I guess watch companies must pay beaucoup
buckage to have their products used in films."
