Hello holguinero-ga, It appears that Artimedes, like the similar name Artemides, is a form of the name Artemis (Greek) or Artumes (Etruscan), also known as the Roman goddess Diana. You can view the relationships between these names on these pages: "Rasna - det glemte folk" [sixth paragraph] GlobalHouse http://www.aglobalhouse.net/verden-rundt/folkeslag/rasna---det-glemte-folk.lwp/rasna---det-glemte-folk.htm "Vase Catalog Number: Malibu 86.AE.114" The Perseus Digital Library http://www.perseus.tufts.edu/cgi-bin/vaseindex?entry=Malibu+86.AE.114 "Artemis" (updated June 10, 2000) Teen Witch http://www.teenwitch.com/DEITY/GREEK/ARTEMIS.HTM I hope that this information is helpful. - justaskscott-ga Search terms used on Google: artimedes artemides artemis artumes artemis diana [I also tried other combinations of these words, but these particular combinations resulted in the pages I have cited.] | |
