the list looks great. Can you email the list as an excel spreadsheet,
with the following column headings Store name, State then email
address.
How do I pay you???
The next data base I need is the surf retailers all states except
Victoria.
Probably a bigger job than the MTB,s so I would be offering $150. I
would like it in the same format as the Mountain Bikes .

Re: Surf Retailers database
I have just completed the database for the surf retailers. Though i
came across a large number of retailers, i have to point that many of
them do not have a website or a listed email. The list i've compiled
contains 80 contacts. I visited many directories, and many of the
individual websites in order extract a few more emails. I am fairly
confident that it's a thorough listing. I thought i would mention
this, in case you were expecting more, or in case you wish to adjust
the fee/tip.

hi jack,
I downloaded file but can,t open it!!!! When ever I try to open it my
computer opens explorer and I end up at the page that the file link is
on.
the file that I downloaded contains no data just a link.
When I started this project I went onto Yellow pages .com to checki
out how many surf retailers there where, there are nearly 1600 across
Australia. let me think about what the effects will be by using such a
small cross section.
I will pay for the work done, I did expect at least 500 retailers
though.
if you want to start work on another one, I would like ski and
snowboard retailers/hire in both Australia and New Zealand. This
should be pretty small list compared to MTB , I would have thought
that apart from Victoria and NSW there won't be many stores,so I guess
the rate would be $50. If itb proves to be larger than what I imagine,
i will increase the rate.
It is very easy for the uninformed and niave to blindly put personal
details up in the public arena of the web.

Re: surf retailers
As i mentioned before, many of the retailers do not have a website or
a listed email. But, i have done some extra digging and have managed
to get a few more email contacts, increasing the total to around 100
(all states except Victoria).
I will now get to work on the ski/snowboard retailers in Australia &
New Zealand, and i'll let you know my findings. Let me when you
receive the MTB database file.

I paid $100 for 200 MTB retailers , so are you happy to set that as
the bench mark for payment?
If you have 100 surf retailers that would be $50,is that OK. I would
also, hope that the list is of different retailers not just the same

Yes, i'm happy to set that as the benchmark for payment. I will
arrange to send you the ski & surf retailers/hire database with 113
contacts. When you receive it, you can close this question by rating
the answer and entering an amount between $1-$100 in the tip box next

For the ski/snowboard database, please post another question which i
will answer for you in the same way. If you mark it for "for
Jackburton-ga" (in the title) it will be easier for me locate. Also,
just to let you know that the ski/snowboard database is almost
complete and contains 133 contacts (all states + n.zealand).
Please note that according to Google's payment policy, Google keeps a
percentage of the question price, while GA reasearchers receive 100%
of the amount that is given as a tip. Therefore, it would be more
welcome if you were to set the next question at the minimum price

Hi jack,
I have recieved surf database, I haven't tried to load into my address
book hopefully it will load properly. Do you have any thoughts on why
the MTB data base won't load .
I have posted another question in Business and Money-eCommerce.
