please note that this is a top-dollar project and my emphasis will be
on usability not just curiosity or FYI.

would like output in two forms:

1. weblinks list and, 2. copies of actual post-castro plans or the
email addresses of the folks that can sell or send me them.

Clarification of Question by holguinero-ga on 01 Apr 2003 16:52 PST
the initial question should have said post-castro, fidel castro, and
not "post-cuba".

Hello holguinero-ga,

In your first sentence, "christian and, repeat, and cuban-american"
does "repeat" refer to repatriation or repatriated? If not, please
clarify what you mean. Thanks.

sorry, i sure worded the thing awkwardly. i just meant that i wanted
both christian and cuban-american orgs.

by christian i should have clarified to narrow to u.s. evangelical
orgs that are sending or supporting missionaries to cuba.

Dear holguinero-ga;

Thank you for allowing me an opportunity to answer your interesting
question.

Certainly we would have to question one’s decision to publish plans
and information for restructuring a society in the absence of a
hostile government even before such a regime has ceased to exist. To
do so would be tantamount to “giving away the game plan”. There are
however a number of projections, hopes and recommendation that are
undoubtedly part of a larger, more organized effort to which we are
not completely privy. Having said that, I have found a number of
publications related to the future of Cuba in the post-Castro era from
authors, organizations and authorities that have an interest in the
transition. I have compiled this research in both formats you have
requested; a list of links and direct free access to the documents:

These are from the CUBA TRANSITION PROJECT (CTP), a premiere
organization whose interest in Cuban reform across the entire social
spectrum has been widely publicized.
http://ctp.iccas.miami.edu/index_800_2.htm

“The Cuba Transition Project at the Institute for Cuba and
Cuban-American Studies (ICCAS), University of Miami is an important

reconstruction of Cuba once the post-Castro transition begins in
earnest.”

nice response. would like a bit more work, tho. specifically, on the
evangelical organization side:

what orgs have ministry to cuba today (christian evangelism)? and are
there any post-castro christian talks, pubs, orgs?

Thank you for your clarification request.

Sure, I'd be glad to expand on it a bit more. Please allow a little
more time and I will study the position of the church with regard to
post-Castro reformation in Cuba.

I'll also sweep for organizations and see what I can come up with.
