In the US, it appears that Conair does not repair its products. If
under warranty, they exchange for a new product. Their site notes the
following undering Frequently Asked Questions:

We do not repair. If you have a problem with your unit while it is
under warranty, please send it to one of our service centers. We will

Interplak(TM) appliance and 1-800-767-6020 for a Pollenex product."

Now, it is possible that laws and repair policies are very different
in Australia. Vidal Sassoon is the importer for Conair in Australia [
