Please just frame the debate for me, I've had several of my
psychologists take up wholly different sides - it's maddening.  Are
the chemical imbalances entailed in bipolar disorder a resultant of
the mood swings, vice versa, or is it all a chicken or the egg
situation?  My own theory is that it's too personal to generalize,
but, hey, since that's what psychologists do, please take up the
various generalizations please.
