Hello ssaroff,
Great! Here are some sites that allow you to post your needs, and in
return, programmers bid on your projects. You can also view the online
profiles for the parties bidding on your projects. Many of the
programmers at these sites are professionals with regards to PHP and
Mysql, and have very good remarks from past customers:
ScriptLance
"If you need custom programming done for your site, whether it be Perl
or PHP, we can help you find the right person for the job, and at the
best possible price..."
http://www.scriptlance.com
Elance
"Connect to specialized service providers to get your projects done
quickly and cost-effectively."
http://www.elance.com
Freelancers Direct
"..place your project for thousands of quality bidding members"
http://www.freelancersdirect.com/
CodeLance
"Discuss the project with potential programmers before choosing the
right one for you"
http://www.codelance.com/
RentaCoder.com
"How Software Gets Done" (they do internet related work too)
http://www.rentacoder.com/RentACoder/default.asp
ScriptHelpers
"like getting an estimate from dozens of qualified professionals and
then
choosing the one you like most.."
http://www.scripthelpers.com/
TheCentralMall.com
"Find a top independent contractor, freelance consultant, freelancer
FREE..."
http://www.thecentralmall.com/
Smarterwork
"Smarterwork specialise in bringing clients and qualified Service
Providers together to carry out short, medium or long term
projects...."
http://www.smarterwork.com/
All these sites work similar to one another. You simply register as a
webmaster for free. Then you can open a project. With most of these
sites, you never pay a dime until work is completed, which means you
will have time to collaborate with a few different programmers before
settling in on your choice.
How is that for a start? It's good to see you are enthusiastic about
the Answers program! Don't hesitate to ask for clarification before
rating this answer. I would love to be of further assistance.
Search Strategy - I searched Google for:
scriptlance
://www.google.com/search?q=scriptlance
I had prior knowledge of Scriptlance, and that I would find similar
services by simply searching for the site by name.
Thanks for the great question ssaroff!
