applying material to wood panels " Furniture"
I have a side board unit that I will be applying Horse hair (very
course, strong, not fluffy) material to the front panels of the
cabinet, the rest of the unit is made from veneer.
Horse hair will be applied to plywood. The object is for the material
to look as one with the plywood NO lumps or pulls in the fabic, no
glue marks.
My question - Should I use staples to apply the horse hair to the
Plywood - will this make the fabic tight enough with the panel.
Staples would be applied from the back. or use a glue that is
Transparent. How would I
apply the glue.
