We're looking for B2B (Business-to-Business) portals for suppliers of
consumer products that are available in wholesale volumes. These
portals should play an active role in smoothing out the exchange
process and not be a mere directory listing.

Emphasis is global.

Articles and advice on how these exchanges are working out for both
ends would be a great plus.

Thank you.

Thanks for Asking!

I've located and profiled several B2B portals which offer facilitation
services in addition to listings. In most cases I've used excerpts to
allow the portals to describe their services in their own words, and
have provided clarification summaries where I thought they'd be

Without knowing a more specific type of consumer goods, I've provided
in this listing only those portals which cover a rather broad class of
consumer goods. If you'd like to narrow it down to specific products
or industries, I'll be search for additional portals which are product
or industry related.

I would appreciate cover textiles and car spare parts as particulars,
I know they're not related. :-)

The answer coveres the scope of my original question and I'll rate it
as a five as soon as you respond.

A wonderful job, covered my request and provided me with the means to
locate more B2B resources if I were to look for an area of interest
other than the ones mentioned in the question and clarification.
Thank you. :-)
