In an effort to improve safety, my men's slowpitch softball league
decided this season to ban all multi-wall bats.  (Balls rocketed up
the middle are very dangerous to pitchers).  Gone are the DeMarini
FatBoys, Miken Ultra II's, etc.  We've already got a few single wall
bats (DeMarini Ultimate Weapon for example), but we need to get a few
more.  I wanted to know what are considered the best "hot" bats that
will be allowed in my league?  Our commissioner is apparently using a
list (http://www.bandnsoftball.com/multi_single_2003.html) to
determine a bat's "legality", though if we had a bat that wasn't on
the list, and we could "prove" that it was a single wall bat, perhaps
it could be
used.  Thanks.
