I am looking for a list of INDEPENDENT INDUSTRY RECOGNIZED EXPERTS IN
TRAINING/CONSULTING for IFX, OFX and MISMO. My detailed requirements
are stated below.
By INDEPENDENT I mean that these individuals operate alone or are part
of small boutique consulting shops and are NOT part of any large
company including technology vendors like Microsoft, IBM, WebMethods,
etc or large financial services concerns like Citibank, Bank of
America, etc. In addition, they should not be part of Research/Analyst
firms like Gartner, Forrester Research, ZapThink, et al.
By INDUSTRY RECOGNIZED EXPERTS I mean these individuals have published
books on the topic and/or are regular speakers at Industry conferences
regarding these topics. In addition, it is preferred(but not
necessary) that they are part of the working groups of these standard
bodies.
By TRAINING/CONSULTING I mean they provide custom training services
(preferred) and potentially also provide consulting services to
clients. By training I'm referring to individuals who teach who these
standards are used and conduct workshops/et al.
By IFX, OFX and MISMO I am referring to three standards that are
prevalent in the Banking (IFX and OFX) and Mortgage (MISMO)
industries.
Please Note: Individuals provided in the answer should satisfy ALL the
requirements stated above.
The answer should include contact information for the individual and
would be organized by the 3 standards. An example of the preferred
answer is...
IFX
---
John Doe (Contact Information and Short Bio/Link to Bio and Criteria
for Inclusion)
OFX
---
Mary Smith (Contact Information and Short Bio/Link to Bio and Criteria
for Inclusion)
MISMO
-----
Robert S (Contact Information and Short Bio/Link to Bio and Criteria

Atleast 5 individuals for each standard (and I don't mind overlap - so
you could have the same name in two or three standards if the person
is actually proficient in more than one of them which I expect might
happen due to the overlap in OFX and IFX). Of course, I'm less
concerned about the number and more concerned about the quality of the
list! :)

Hi -
There literally may not be that many. A prominent OFX site says they
really only know of 3 [1 of which doesn't count for your criteria]...
I need to know specifically what you will accept before an answer is
given. Thanks..

Well, I would like to see at least 5 different names overall. If there
aren't 5 in each standard, that's alright.

Hello -
2 questions for you..
1) May I ask who your target audience is? Developers/programmers?
2) I have located a company that employees people who have done
training on OFX in privately held workshops and have done development
w/ the OFX standard. Would something like that suffice for the OFX
category?
Thanks...

1. I don't quite understand what you mean when you say "target
audience". I am looking primarily for consultants who can conduct
training workshops in these areas. These training workshops are
conducted for software architects/developers.
2. That would be fine as long as they satisfy my Independent
requirement. I would also prefer to have the names of the individuals
who actually conduct that training.

1) "Target audience" was answered by what you said here:
"These training workshops are conducted for software
architects/developers."
2) OK, I've got contacts for OFX. I'm waiting back IFX and Mismo, and
we should be all set.

I'm just waiting now for Mismo. Thanks for your patience.

Hi again -
Just about there... this one Mismo trainer says she "does not offer
generic training but training suited to your specific needs and geared
toward the type of system you are developing." Is this OK?
