Most literary agents understandably represent writers of books and
short stories. However, I'd like a list of literary agents that
represent writers of (non-fiction) magazine articles.

Writers Net is a wonderful directory of literary agents. None of the
listings mention magazine articles.

I presume that articles don't pay enough to worth trying to sell for a
percentage.

If none of the researchers turns up anything, you might try posting
the question on www.mediabistro.com.  It's a terrific journalists
hangout.  Pro's trade info and tips and you can post a query and
people jump right in and answer.  It's free.
