Hi killer,
My first thought was also the keyboard from www.thinkgeek.com, which I
had coincidentally come across just a few days ago. I'm still toying
with the idea of getting one myself! As given below in popsracer's
comment, you can find it at ThinkGeek's website:

I wanted to provide you with many choices. The link below gives you
six alternatives from Stealth Computer, though they are priced higher
than the $99 ThinkGeek version. Some of these give you options for
lighting levels, lighting color, and size (one as small as 8.25"W):

Gendig offers several backlit models on their desktop keyboard page.
The K81-S12B, K81-S4HB, K121-12TB/K121-12TBB, K121-12TB/K121-12TBB,

In short, there are many variations among the different manufacturers
and models. Some of the keyboards indicate they are suited to rugged
environments. Some mention no external power is needed. And of
course if you're planning to use the keyboard in a portable mode, then
the smaller sizes are available too. If you're just looking for a
little lighting to improve your midnight gaming without turning on the
lamp, then the ThinkGeek solution was by far the least expensive.
Hope that gives you enough to find the perfect backlit keyboard!
The search I used was "backlit keyboard minus "notebook" and "apple".
It seems Apple recently introduced a laptop computer with a backlit
keyboard, and I had to filter out all those results.
type into Google:
backlit keyboard -notebook -apple

Have fun with your nighttime computing,
