Music: I need to find the words from the second verse of an old
(1930s) song that my mother learned in grammar school. This is a
song, important to our family's 'lore.'

I do not know the title of the song but, the first verse is "See the
fish in gentle colors, hither slither along they go. Free as once in
their native ocean, darting to and fro."

Is there some regional significance to this song perhaps? Where did
your mother hear this song?

My mother went to grammar school in Nashua, New Hampshire and she
thinks she learned it there. Could be an old Irish or Scotish tune
with newer lyrics.
