I'm looking for a series of articles that relate to the use of e-collaboration software in the auto industry. Case studies in particular would be most useful e.g. http://www.cioinsight.com/article2/0,3959,44419,00.asp |

Hello bmf650, Thanks for the question! I wasn't able to find what I feel is enough resources to complete this answer, however other Researchers may be able to assist you further. Here is what I was able to round up for you: Grid Technology Case Study "Grid Engine software works by aggregating all available compute resources into a virtual resource pool, enabling the Powertrain IT groups to deliver compute cycles as a service, over the network..." http://wwws.sun.com/software/grid/stories/ford.html Ubench drives insurance efficiencies... "Belgian company and IBM Business Partner specializing in collaborative workflow and life cycle management services for the automotive industry..." http://www.ibm.com/software/success/cssdb.nsf/CS/NAVO-5F7S9Q?OpenDocument&Site=software Information Week "Ford Motor Co. and General Motors Corp. have joined DaimlerChrysler AG in adopting the use of Powerway.com's Web-based collaborative quality-management tools to drive adoption of the auto industry's Advanced Product Quality Planning standards....." http://www.informationweek.com/story/IWK20020205S0002 I hope it helps in your endeavors! Hello sgtcory Thanks for the 3 links. The articles you were able to find ARE the kind of information I am looking for. Were there too many answers to go through in your search or the opposite ? Thanks |

Hello bmf650, I wasn't able to find more recent examples like the ones above. I thought I would leave this question open, in case another researcher was privy to some inside resources that I may not have access to. We'll give it couple more days, and if nothing else comes up - I'll do some more digging to see what I can come up with for an answer to your question. Thanks! SgtCory |
