Google continually jumps from an old outdated cached page back in February of
our website (www.woodlandmanufacturing.com) and then every few days it
will index a current copy of our site. Can you let us know why?

Hello woodlandmfg-ga,

Indeed, when I searched a few minutes ago on Google, the cache held
the home page "LAST UPDATED: FEB 11, 2003", while your current home
page was "LAST UPDATED: APRIL 2, 2003".

It appears that because you made changes to your site, the Googlebot
known to webmasters as "Freshbot" or "Minty" visited your site,
causing a situation called "Everflux".  The Everflux phenomenon is
common; it means that a newly changed page may go back and forth
between the new and old versions in Google's cache.  Eventually, after
the next or subsequent major update of Google's index, only the new
version should be in the cache.  For more on this phenomenon, see:
