Hello arive-ga, According to the Babe Ruth League, of which Cal Ripken Baseball (including its Minor division) is a part, the pitching distance for Cal Ripken Baseball (ages 5-12) fields is 46 feet. Specifically, as the accompanying diagram shows, the distance from the pitching plate to the back of home plate is 46 feet. "Facility Planning Guide" (2002) [pages 5 and 6] Babe Ruth League http://www.baberuthleague.org/images/facilityguide.pdf I hope that this information is helpful. - justaskscott-ga Search terms used on Google: "babe ruth baseball" "ripken baseball" rules "ripken baseball" "46 feet" |
