Hello bon23,

To assist researchers - Are you looking for independent studies that
may help further establish a scientific theory for this question, or
are you seeking a studied Christian perspective?

Thanks,
SgtCory

The only way to know this for certain is to ask him yourself should
you have that opportunity. Until then, there are hundreds of religious
views and other speculation regarding this issue. Which "worldy" one
are you wanting to know more about?

I know there might not be an answer to this question. I think that
humans do not or cannot muster up the brain power to comprehend God.
Although a little scientific and a little religious background to the
question wouldn't hurt

Hi! Thanks for the question.

I will answer your question based on the clarification you’ve made to
the questions of other researchers. I have found the following
articles, which specifically discusses your question.

“From a purely scientific standpoint, it is easy to demonstrate that
matter cannot be eternal in nature. The universe is expanding from
what appears to be a beginning point in space/time, which appears to
be a one time event.”

“The second law of thermodynamics insists that the cosmos is moving
toward a condition of disorder, sometimes referred to as “heat death.”
Even in an oscillating universe, things ultimately run out of energy
and “die.” All of these evidences, and several others we have not made
reference to, show that matter cannot be eternal…”

“The problem here is that many people have a mistaken concept of God.
If we conceive of God as physical, anthropomorphic (like man) being,
the question of God’s origin is valid. However, such a concept of God
is alien to the Bible and to common sense.”

“When asked ‘Who or what created God?,’ we are making the assumption
that God was created. If God exists outside of time and space, and if
He is the Creator of time and space, He obviously was not created! God
began the beginning! This is why He says, ‘I am Alpha and Omega, the
beginning and the end, the first and the last.’”

“WHO CREATED GOD?”

“The question that must be asked, then, is "If something is created,
who or what created it?" If the universe is created, and left to
itself it will run down, then who put it together in the first place?
We know it shows intelligence, design, and balance.”

“So, if the created thing must come from something else, then it must
come from something that exists prior to it. If we look at all the
created things as a whole, they must come from a non-created thing.
That is the only logical option open to us!”

You must first define for yourself what is God. If you believe that
God is the sum of all Universal energy (not just some white-haired man
on a Heavenly throne) then to find the beginnings of God would require
knowledge of the beginning of the Universe, a knowledge no human
possesses.

You have asked an extremely interesting question, one that requires a
great deal of spiritual examination.

PS Your question reminds me of the rhetorical "If God is all-powerful,
then can He create a rock so big that He can't lift it?"

Re: easterangel's comment -

The cited page relates to how God created (from a Christian
perspective), not how God was created. My understanding is that the
traditional Jewish and Christian views are that God has always
existed, and was not created by anyone else. Some more secular people
might argue that the humans whom God supposedly created actually
themselves created (invented the idea of) God.

In response to justaskscott.

Whenever you look at this question from a religious perspective, God
should always exist and created everything. That is the reason why He
is God. The basis of this is the Creation Theory.

HI ! BON23. YES, THERE IS A GOD. BUT ONLY ONE MIND YOU. HOW DO WE
KNOW. WELL, HE HAS MADE SURE THAT HIS STORY/SITUATION IS MADE CLEAR TO
EVERY PERSON WHO WAS EVER BORN. IT`S THE BIBLE. GENESIS 1;1 STATES "
IN THE BEGINNING, GOD CREATED THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH. GEN. 1;2
MENTIONS GOD`S ACTIVE FORCE, HIS POWER.GOD HAS NO BEGINNING AND NO
END. PSALM 19;1...THE HEAVENS ARE DECLARING THE GLORY OF GOD AND OF
THE WORK OF HIS HANDS, THE EXPANSE IS TELLING. ROMANS 1;20...HIS
INVISIBLE QUALITIES ARE CLEARLY SEEN FROM THE WORLD`S CREATION ONWARD,
BECAUSE THEY ARE PERCEIVED BY THE THINGS MADE. HIS FIRST CREATION WAS
HIS ONLY SON JESUS, WHO WAS BESIDE GOD AS A WORKER DURING THE
CREATION...[PROVERBS 8;22-30] "
THEN I CAME TO BE BESIDE HIM AS A MASTER WORKER". GOD, WHO LIKES HIS
NAME TO BE USED [ PSALM 83;18...EXODUS 6;3....] THE WHOLE BIBLE HAS A
SINGLE THEME, AND THAT IS " THE GOOD NEWS OF THE KINGDOM" GOD HAS
GIVEN ALL OF MANKIND TWO THOUSAND YEARS SINCE JESUS TO TRY OUT EVERY
KIND OF GOVERNMENT, AND WITH MAN RUNNING THEM, THEY HAVE ALL FAILED.
ONLY A GOVERNMENT WITH JESUS AT THE HEAD, AND WITH EVERYONE ELSE
OBEYING HIM, WILL BE SUCCESSFUL. THIS IS A FUTURE EVENT THAT IS NOW
NOT FAR OFF. EVERYONE NOT DOING EXACTLY WHAT JESUS TAUGHT IS REGARDED
AS A SINNER AND WHEN THAT DAY COMES [ AS A THIEF IN THE NIGHT...1
THESSALONIANS 5;2 ] THERE WILL BE A CLEANSING OF THE EARTH OF PEOPLE
NOT DOING THE RIGHT THING. [JEREMIAH 25;23 THOSE SLAIN BY
JEHOVAH/YAHWEH/JA/GOD WILL CERTAINLY COME TO BE IN THAT DAY FROM ONE
END OF THE EARTH TO THE OTHER. HIS PATIENCE IN WAITING FOR US TO
CHANGE WILL HAVE RUN OUT.

Most religions teach that God has neither begining nor end = eternal.
Some Mormons believe that God and all humans existed as intelegences
before God got organized as the supreme being. Thus we are also
eternal = without beginning nor end. I don't think this is official
Church doctrine, but what follows is: God then organized us as spirit
beings before we came to Earth to get physical bodies. Thus we had a
pre-existance for a long time before we were born on this Earth.
