i'd like an ab work out routine that will concentrate on defining my
ab muscles and showing them stacked vertically vs horizontally which
would make the torso look wider. i'm looking for a way to work them
out to make the torso look longer while defining the lower abs in
particular

the answer to this should include good research showing why the given
expercises will produce one result over the other and the physiology

There is a book made by a well-known practitioner, certified authority
on the subject and supported by real experts. It contains many photos
and illustrations with explanations for each exercise and results. I'm
sure it will answer your questions point by point. Would you be
interested on purchasing that book?
