I suspect, dealers rarely offer the lowest possible price on the internet for several reasons. Nearly every car in their inventory is equipted differntly. They don't know which items will sell today or exactly how new inventory that arrives tomarrow will be equipped. They don't sell enough cars on the internet to justify updating prices twice daily. The internet buyer is likely to want to take posession at a particular time and date. The work load of the final servicing department can hardly be predicted even an hour ahead. The walk in buyer will often accept a car with whatever extras it may have. The address (nationality, employment, credit rating of the buyer and the name of the lender changes the price at least slightly. Likely there are several other reasons. Neil |
