How are normal and deviant constructed in relation to prostitution?
What social reactions are generated by prostitution and what
consequences arise from this?

The family is the normal condition of humans, so prostitution is
counter-intuitive, thus producing at least minor problems for all
concerned. In this sense all prostitution is deviate, but sometimes it
is more so, causing additional problems for all concerned. Spread of
sexual diseases (especially AIDS) is a good reason for avoiding
prostitution. Your significant other will probably resent that you
secretly engaged in prostitution and jelocy and a sense of filthy is
probable. Typically love affairs are damaged if not destroyed. Devorce
or separation often follow.  Neil
