I am looking to buy a portable stereo (boombox) with the following
criteria:

- has a radio tuner
- has speakers (optional)
- Under $100
- line in (a input to accept a RCA (other other) cable from a external
device (like an ipod)
- line out (even a headphone jack will do) if I want to play the radio
into my PC for recording shows

CFD-S550 is the perfect one.  Do you think there is a cheaper place to
buy it other then sony's web site?
