Hello cvip-ga,

I have never seen subscriber info like this for a very local area, and
judging by the lack of activity on this question, neither have the
other researchers here. You might want to consider if some other type
of data might meet your needs. If so, post a clarification here to
let us know how we can help.

I have the percentage of the population of Fresno with Internet Access
as well as other data related to internet usage in Fresno. Finding
exact numbers will be all but impossible as the people switching to
broadband, regardless of technology, is an ever changing number.

Thanks for the clarification, but it's still a tough thing to
get...the types of data you're looking for are usually restricted to
marketing reports that cost thousands of dollars a pop. The best I
can do is this, extracted from a marketing press release:

28 percent of Net households in America now have broadband
access...cable modem and DSL together represented 88 percent of the
household broadband access market in the US, up from 70 percent in
2000.

Cable modem has increased its market share to 54 percent; DSL's
overall market is 34 percent.

Of the nine census-block regions in the US, the Pacific and New
England regions are the most highly penetrated regions for online
households with broadband access. Approximately 34 percent of Pacific
online households and 33 percent of New England households having
high-speed access.

Hope that helps.
