Hello sneak6,

This was a tough search! I went to over 50 websites, which lead to me
a site that required registration. I registered for free, and they
sent me to the DataSheet in less that 10 seconds :

2SD1880 Datasheet
http://service.semic.sanyo.co.jp/semi/ds_pdf_e/2SD1880.pdf

Here is the site that required the registration in case you need to
find more datasheets. The registration is free:

ABC SemiConductors
http://www.abcsemiconductors.com/

You will need Adobe Acrobat to view the DataSheet. It is a free
download :

Adobe Acrobat
http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html

Here is some other pertinent *related* information I found along the
way:

http://bdent.com/pdf/SY111A_e.pdf

http://orpheuscomputing.com/technicians/transistor_specifications.html#2sd

To assist with this answer I searched Google for:

transistor datasheets
://www.google.com/search?q=transistor+datasheets

Thanks for the challenge of the day!

Added this as a comment, because I couldn't find it for free; and
quite possibly it exists for free somewhere.

For a $9.95 1 month membership, you can download this spec sheet (and
more). The specific page is
http://www.chipdocs.com/pndecoder/datasheets/SANYO/2SD1880.html.
