please?

Hello Biggriff,

Do you want to improve the Google Search ranking? Or do you want to
fix the web-page itself? If latter is the case, I was looking at your
web-page and the links do appear -- which web-browser do you use?
Thanks.

Hi biggriff-ga!

It seems to be working fine for me.

When searching I used criteria - vacation rental villas at windsor
palms florida

This brought out our website as www.florida-sunvillas.com/banner and
although we have several of these /photos /contact us etc etc the
highest one in the rankings is banner. But there is no blue link above
it so even when people find us, they can't get on our page so they
move on to the next website.

Your point about search engine rankings is also valid, as we have
dropped seriously down the rankings when searching AOL/Google rather
than Google.com

I have paid Google's search engines and am currently paying for
another two search engine companies, but we aren't getting anywhere.

We employ an award winning web designer who is red hot with search
engines and he has stripped our site a zillion times but just cannot
find the reasons for it dropping down the rankings like it has! We
were always withing the top 5 now we are 208th and not simply not
climbing.

The only one that is working is the /banner, but as I said you can't
click on it as there is no link. This is something unique to google,
as all the others that I have tried are OK.

Thanks for you help.
Dave

Hi Dave,

I don't understand. I've never seen a Google search result which does
not have a link. I searched for the keywords you suggested, the
/banner result came in at about 22nd place. I clicked on the link and
was taken to a page which says:

Thankyou for visiting www.Florida-Sunvillas.com
The page you are looking for has now moved, please click here to load
our new website.
http://www.florida-sunvillas.com/banner.htm

Concerning your drop in ranking, how do you know you were 208th? Have
you ever used software to make checking your Google ranking easier,
like Web Position Gold?

I found the same results that Robertskelton did. I don't see a problem
with the Google result nor the site. The links are ok.

Wouldn't ya just know it. Now it's copied and pasted a link, the
www.florida blah blah has posted as a link!!!!

I assure you that this does NOT come out on my screen!!!

All the blue writing above each website is how my computer accesses
these sites, but our site DOES NOT have the blue text above it,
therefore I cannot get access to it. I wonder why it's OK on yours and
not on mine?? Wierd.

The Gold software you suggest what will this do for me? Is it
available in the UK?

Thanks for all your help
Dave

Hello Biggriff,

You said: "The Gold software you [Robertskelton] suggest what will
this do for me? Is it available in the UK?"

Actually, I'm certain Robertskelton didn't suggest the use of
WebPosition Gold, and no other Search Engine Optimization expert would
either:

Google Information for Webmasters

"Don't use unauthorized computer programs to submit pages, check
rankings, etc. Such programs consume computing resources and violate
our terms of service. Google does not recommend the use of products
such as WebPosition Gold™ that send automatic or programmatic queries
to Google."

Hope it helps!
