I am looking to buy an antique banjo barometer and am located in New England. I can only find dealers in England that have these instruments available. Is there an antique dealer nearby I should contact? Or do you know of buyers willing to source the barometer from England and guarantee the shipment and quality for a nominal fee? |

Hello, Here is a place is Mass. that has a large selection of barometers ($1200-$6000): (all sales etc... are done by e-mail, to get the e-mail address you click on "Inquiries, Sales, & Return Policies") http://www.barometer.ws/index.html Here is a shop in New Jersey that has a number of barometers: http://www.medfordclock.com/ Here is a shop in California that deals with this type of stuff: http://www.antiquehorology.com/ You may want to check in w/ these people, it sounds like they have a pretty good return policy: http://www.antiquehorology.com/contact.htm Here are a few barometers in Virgina, price range is $3500-$8000... http://www.charles-edwin.com/brmcat.htm This looks like a nice shop in Maine: http://www.barometershop.net/ Hope this helps, I am not sure where in New England you are, and how far you are willing to drive/fly for this, but if none of these are close enough, please let me know. Thanks, --jld |
