I can provide a link to a historical price chart listing the price of
Union Carbide stock on every day during the period in question, as
well as a link to a chart listing all stock splits and dividends paid
(with dates)from 1917-2001.

These would allow you to extract quarterly information and make
adjustments for price changes due to stock splits. They would also
allow you to manipulate the data in any other way that interests you.

Would these lists be a completely satisfactory answer to your
question?

Thanks for your clarification.

Here are links to two charts, which taken together provide daily stock
price data for Union Carbide for the period 1958-1989:

Dow.com: Union Carbide Historical Stock Price Chart - - 1958-1973
http://www.dow.com/webapps/lit/litorder.asp?filepath=financial/pdfs/noreg/161-00550.pdf&pdf=true

Dow.com: Union Carbide Historical Stock Price Chart - 1974-1989
http://www.dow.com/webapps/lit/litorder.asp?filepath=financial/pdfs/noreg/161-00551.pdf&pdf=true

And here is a link to a chart that provides complete chronological
information on Union Carbide's stock splits and dividends for the
period 1917-2001:

Dow.com: Union Carbide Corporation Dividend/Stock Split History --
1917-2001
http://www.dow.com/webapps/lit/litorder.asp?filepath=financial/pdfs/noreg/161-00554.pdf&pdf=true

These are all "PDF" files, so you need Acrobat Reader to open and read
them. Although you probably have that program installed on your
computer, you can download it free from this linked page if you do
not:

Additional Site:

All the above information was found at the website of the Dow Chemical
Company, which was the surviving entity after a merger with Union
Carbide in 2001. Here is a link to the page on the Dow site that
provided the links to the information you are seeking, as well as
links to other financial information on Dow and Union Carbide:

Search Strategy:

I tried various Google searches, and the one that was ultimately
successful used the following search terms:

"union carbide" dividend history
://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&q=%22Union+Carbide%22+dividend+history

I am confident that this is the information you are seeking. I was
happy to be able to give you a prompt response. If any of the above
is unclear please ask for clarification before rating this answer.
