I just wanted to add that I would have preferred to give you the
addresses of venues located closer to the crematorium, directly in
Ruhleben itself. Alas, despite intensive research I was not able to
find any adequate café, Konditorei, or Restaurant, that would have met
your needs. So I decided to provide you the addresses of two reputable
Konditoreien as close as possible.

Dear speedyremote, 

I am pretty familiar with the area of Ruhleben, and unfortunately it
is one of the few places in Berlin where the best restaurant is the
one at the nearby IKEA department store, and that wasn't suppose to be
a compliment to the Swedish furniture giant.

Thus, Scriptor's advices - to use a restaurant or conditory in nearby
Spandau is probably the best.
