KevinMD I have been having vomiting, mostly during eating. It is like my stomach decides half way thru a meal that something is wrong with the food. I sometimes have to make it to a trash can intead of the bathroom due to the quickness of it. It is so violent at times that I have bursted blood vessels around the mouth. This only happens in spells. Maybe once or twice a week, then not again for a month. I have had an ultrasound of the gall bladder in Oct 2001 as well as upper GI. The only finding was a polyp on the gall bladder. I just had a hida scan with ck 4/09/03. Everything normal. We are scheduling a scope with a gastro doctor. Do you think that should be the next step. I hate to keep having tests and not finding a reason. My mother and grandmother both had nausea and vomiting without typical gall bladder symptoms and both improved from removal of the gall bladder. My Doctor has not ruled out the gall bladder as the problem but the insurance will not cover removal without testing to prove that it is the problem. My youngest daughter (19 years old)has thrown up for years and has had numerous tests with no answers. Could we have something hereditary? Thank you, Donna K. Sheets |

Hi - Maybe it's diet related? Over 50% of ailments are diet related [it's probably even much higher]. Try going on a juice fast [where you juice raw fruits and vegetables and drink that only] for a few days. Then move to eating just fruits and vegetables, water, nuts and juicing for a couple weeks or longer. This will detox your system. |
