Question ID: 188884
I want to take a beginner course in photography in Denver, Colorado.
I don't want a course that includes work in a darkroom - I want a
course I can take with my digital camera (which has lots of manual
functions) that is just the very basics about composition, film speed,
aperture, depth of field, lighting, etc.

Find me a course!

Thanks in advance.

Hello again Tamkins and thank you for your question. (I previously
answered your question on Home Blood Pressure Monitors.)

My search returned the following results for a beginner photography
course using a digital camera in Denver Colorado.

====================================================

Denver Darkroom offers the following course:

“This 4 week course is designed for those who own a digital camera
and want to start using it for serious photography. We'll cover all
the various camera operating controls and underlying digital concepts.
We'll also discuss lenses, exposure concepts, and a variety of
shooting techniques. Post-camera processing is a big part of the
digital process and a fair amount of the class will focus on the
digital workflow.”
Tuition: $245. Maximum class size: 10.

NOT QUITE READY TO TAKE THE PLUNGE WITH A 4-WEEK CLASS?

“1 Day DIGITAL OVERVIEW -- If you are still looking for a digital
camera, and just want to know what's out there, Consider taking our
one day digital workshop to get a good understanding of how digital
photography works and is evolving. You'll learn a great deal about
digital cameras, the digital workflow and where it is all going. Many
of the topics above will be covered, but in less detail.”

Although they state: NEXT SESSION March 22, 2003,
I would recommend calling them to check for upcoming classes.
