1.  Windows 98 second Ed

2.  Do not know but seems to happen mostly in word (office 2000 professional)

3.  Nothing to my knowledge.

Some times just closing the error message i can continue as normal
others times it cause the comp to crash.

My suggestion at the moment is to scan your computer for potentially
needed updates:

Office Product Updates

Please click on "Scan my computer to find Office updates I need".

Hello,

I think you have to reinstall Office 2000 and apply all the SPs
available at the Microsoft web site.
