Hello Ricci ~

I'd be glad to write a Mission Statement for your company - I've been
doing it for my clients for years.

However, it would help to have the name of the company and your
product line(s), as well as your target market, in order to
incorporate the information into your Mission Statement and attract
potential customers in an inviting fashion.

Thanks ...

We are still in the process in selecting our company Name. Here is our
short list of names we think will be suitable for our new company:

EasyDesk
MyDesk
ActiveDesk
DeskFit
FreeDesk
SmartDesk

for our desk name, our short list of names as follows:
(there will be three models available from basic to fully spec. desk)

essential desk
individual desk
expert desk
space desk

could please advice your choice for company and desk names which could
go along with your mission statement proposal.

We would like to have our mission statement min.3, max. 6 words in
one sentence.
That sentence would be always part of of company name written in
smaller letters below company Name.

Once we sort this out we will posting request to design our fonts for
company name and fonts our one sentence mission statement.

We will not have a company logo, but our company name and one sentence
will be all as part of total company/product image.

one more comment: Our electric height adjustable ergonomic
computer/call centers desk are the high end of the market and trully
ergonomic in every sense. Our desk are really design to make compter
users their life easier.
Our computer desk be the BMW (as cars) of computer desks avaialble.
Thank you for your reply.

Hi Ricci ~

We may have a slight misunderstanding on what you mean by "Mission
Statement".

I think what you're asking for is a company slogan, inasmuch as you
said in your clarification, "We would like to have our mission
statement min.3, max. 6 words in one sentence."

I think what you're asking for is a company slogan, similar to "GE ...
we bring good things to life", or Coca Cola's "It's the real thing",
etc.

As a rule, a Mission Statement, which often is accompanied with or a
part of a Business Plan, contains the following:

          - Brief description of what you do (an important anchor for
new businesses)
          - Vision of what you want to become
          - Philosophies and values that will characterize your
actions
          - Key strategies for reaching goals
          - What distinguishes you from competitors

And that is pretty hard to put together in three to six words.

For an example of a Mission Statement, here is Americorps':

And here's an article by Steve Strauss about Mission Statements:

So, to make sure we're talking about the same thing. Do you want what
is commonly referred to as a "Mission Statement", or are you really
looking for a 'slogan' ?

Thanks ever so much,
Serenata

Yes, you are 100% right, We mean slogan/motto type statement, which
could describe what the product is and can do for our potential
customers/users.
Sorry for the misudesrtanding.
Thank you for patience, I think this time we have our descrition of
what we want right.
The answer to your clarification is, that we are looking for slogan
type statement.
Just added one more company name proposal "ConceptDesk", could please
advice your opinion on company names.

Hi Ricci,

I would call your firm ComfortCentre and your product SmartDesk.
Comfort is a luxury and that's what you want to sell.
People want luxury and will pay for it. You can call the models, like
car models as the luxury options increase, SmartDesk SE or SmartDesk
LX2. (If you like the bmw, you can call the top model the SmartDesk
M5!).
You want to convey luxury, you're selling comfort. Your slogan would
be "A desk for the posh professional", or "A desk for the majestic
professional". Something to that effect.

I'm looking forward to hearing your feedback. I enjoy this kind of
work and can come up with many more like this. Let me know if this is
what you're looking for.

Regards,
Dan

Jack-

Try not to copy so much of your idea from someone else's next time.
The idea of selling comfort was mine. I was waiting for feedback
before entering an answer. Unless Richard thinks that your idea is a
better answer, I'd like to enter my idea as the answer.

No hard feelings.

Response to gilbed-ga:
Hi Dan - Just for the record, my answer was actually prepared before i
had seen your comment, so for what it's worth, i can assure you my
intention was not to copy your idea of selling comfort. In fact
Richard did stress from the beginning: "...Our new product is designed
to ease human body stresses by changing working height from sitting to
standing and make working environment more friendly and more
COMFORTABLE for the user..." However, if you feel you have the right
to post your answer in place of mine, i won't object - but it is my
understanding that non-researchers cannot officially post answers. Let
me know if i misunderstand.
