I want the words to a poem possibly titled The Pirate, with the
opening lines:
"He walked the deck with a swaggering gait,There was mischief in his
eye, A pedigree pirate through and through, With pistol, dirk and
cutlass too...

Several Researchers (myself included) have tried to find your poem,
and so far we haven't succeeded.

It might help if we knew where and when you came across the lines that
you've quoted. Sometimes even a very small clue can lead to success,
so anything more that you can tell us would be welcome.
