Hi laza!!

I found several maps (most of them are satellital maps) that shows the
flooded
areas of the Argentine Pampas. The maps come from Argentinian sites,
so the
pages and notes are in Spanish. May be you can manage this, if not,
let me
know, and I will help you with this.
I don´t know where are you, so may be you don´t know the geography of
Argentina, so I will give you some maps that will show the location of
the
region and the main cities.

Humid Pampa (Pampa Húmeda):
This region comprises the south of the state of Santa Fe, the
southeast of the
state of Córdoba, the east of La Pampa and the center and north of the
state of Buenos Aires. Some authors includes in this region the south
half of the state of Entre Ríos.
See the following map, (I think that you must exclude the state of
Entre Ríos
area):
"REGIÓN NEOTROPICAL - DOMINIO CHAQUEÑO PROVINCIA PAMPEANA":
http://www.surdelsur.com/flora/biogeogr/neotrop/domchaq/pciachaq/pamp/pammap.htm

Since the ´70 decade, this region suffers repeated floods and more
than four
million hectares are affected. This is a consequence of an atypical
gradual
increment of the rainfall as was not registered in no other part of
the world
in the last 30 years.
The territorial center of the flood due by rain varied geographically
each
year. In 1999 the rainfall was focused in the south of Córdoba, being
Laboulaye the more affected place. In 2000, the focus moved to the
northwest of Buenos Aires, and in 2001 it generalized in all the
region.
The average rainfall in the Humid Pampa enlarged due to a humid cycle:
"A change in the circulation of the winds, with an increase in the
frequency of the east -the ones that bring humidity- has generated
more rains in the Humid Pampa. This is associate to a displacement of
the subtropical anticyclones that dominate the oceans. It can be owed
to an increase of storms in ecuatorial zones and the humidity
increases the frequency of storms." said Hugo Hordij, chief of the
Department of Hydrometeorology of the National
Service of Meteorology.
