I would like to enter five online mp3 urls (see sample list below)
into a text box of some sort and tell my computer to download each of
the mp3 files onto its hardrive.
After issuing this command i would like to walk away from the computer
and go to sleep. Upon awakening in the morning i would like to see
that all 5 mp3 files have been auttomatically downloaded into a
pre-selected directory.
how can i do this ?

Hi,
Windows is capable of downloading all 5 at the same time, they do not
need to be downloaded sequentially.
Just right-click on each of the links to each file, select "Save
Target as" and tell Windows where to save them.
Is this what you needed to know, or is a textbox procedure important
to you?

is a textbox procedure important to you?
i did not know that windows can simultaneously download 5 files at a
time. i will try it out although i feel that with a 56k modem the
downloading might be more efficient if done sequentially. i gave 5
links as an example but there would be occassions that i might want to
download 30 sequentially and if it were possible to enter the links
into a text box of some sort then i would have a visual to check the
completeness of the download - this is why a textbox procedure is
important to me

What you need is a Download Manager program. Many are available as
freeware or shareware - would you like a list of such programs?

yes i would deeply appreciate a list. if you have any personal
experience with anyone of them could you recommend one to me.
your quick response and expert guidance is deeply appreciated. i own
the website playlistplayer.com and would like to instruct others how
they can create their own playlistpllayer mp3 download capability.
again, you have been a great help and you will be hearing from me.. i
have many more questions... is there anyway i can request a specific
expert for a specific question. ( i also own googlehelper.com which i
bought because i am so impressed with google and i want to put helper
images, links, comments etc. there)
