I am looking for the lyrics to 2 songs on the Soweto Gospel choir "Voices from Heaven" CD. Song 1 (traditional) title is "Ahuna Ya Tswanag Le Jesu", song 2 (composers listed as Gift Vilakazi, Nkululeko Vilakazi, Isocholo Entertainment) title is "Thina Simngobile". |

megamax-ga, I adore South African choir and chorale music but I was unable to find the lyrics to these songs. I visited the Soweto Gospel Choir's website (it crashed my browser a few times, unfortunately -- I think due to the music that automatically plays) but they did not have any lyrics there. I'm still checking for you -- the word "thina" means "we" in Xhosa, so I'm trying to find Xhosa gospel songs. This is a toughie! If I had the CD I would try and decipher the lyrics but I could not even find any samples of the songs online. I'll keep looking! Filian |

Thasks for your comment - and your work. It's nice to hear from another enthusiast ! I have done a bunch of searchiing myself on this one - found some interesting stuff, but not what I'm looking for. |
