What mail program are you using (such as Outlook, Outlook Express,
Netscape Mail, Eudora, etc.)?

In addition to the above, What OS are you using? In case you are using
Eudora, what version are you using? Would you like to delete all the
trash or just the specific email you want to be removed?

Does the mail disappear and then come back, or does it never
disappear? I'm thinking that for some reason perhaps the mail is
being deleted, but that it is remaining on your mail server, so when
you get your mail the letter comes back again. Is that a possibility?

When you have mail that you do not delete in your mail box, It just
sits there. When you go to delete it it goes to trash. This e-mail
will not leave the screen.
The mail will not delete from the in box.

There is a utility that may be able to help you easily erase the
stubborn message.

Yeti-Soft

and delete email messages on your server. You can read an entire
message before marking it for deletion. This utility lets you save
selected messages and file attachments to disk."

OS: All Windows version

To know more about the software, go to:

QuickDelete F.A.Q.

You need to register here:

Have you tried this:

Highlight the email above the one you want to delete, and while
holding down your shift key, highlight the email directly below the
one you want to delete.

You should then have three emails highlighted, with the one you want
deleted in the middle.

Then, hold down your shift key and hit 'delete' and it should delete
all three of them completely, even bypassing your trash (or deleted)
folder.

I hope this helps,
Serenata

This Will Work.
1. Scan it with a virus scan (if you have one) or use an free online
one. http://housecall.trendmicro.com/housecall/start_corp.asp
2. If its still there, Send your self all of your Important e-mails
that you want.
3. Unplug your internet so that you won't recieve them. (Or somehow
prevent to recieve)
4. uninstall outlook express.
5. Install Outlook Express again, it should be gone. (If you do not
have any installation file, you may need to download one from
Microsoft. You can get it again by going to the Windows Update from
Microsoft.
6. See if its gone.
7. If its still there, see if anyone else can give you any advice (I
tried)

If you use pop email or hotmail then you can use a program called
mailwasher - www.mailwasher.net

It is very good at deleting the messages without even having to
download them.
If you need further help with setting up of the program then tell me.

I once ran into this same problem with Outlook Express on Win98
machine. I was completely unable to delete email. I found that the
machine's owner never emptied the "Trash" folder of deleted mail. The
file had become so large that Outlook Express just couldn't handle it.
I had to manually delete the file. If you think this may be the
problem let me know and I can help you get it deleted.

Good Luck
