On entering Level II detail from credit card/purchasing card
transactions- describe the data entry process for entering the
“customer code”. Can any numerical code be assigned and entered? Does
the POS terminal simply prompt you for the code after the card is
swiped and the price is entered?

Please explain in detail (other than using the explanation on GE
Capital's website)

This is a general question assuming some POS terminals can handle Level II detail.
