I own a franchised business in Dallas, Texas.  Due to the low sales
performance, I may have to declare bankruptcy protection for myself
and the business since I had to sign personal guarantees for the
business.

With that in mind, I would like to know how to find and select a
highly competent bankruptcy attorney (or will any attorney be able to
handle this), the typical fee structure, a better understanding of the
overall process.

In addition, I would like to know what life will be like after the
bankruptcy has been completed in terms of our ability to obtain credit
for homes, cars, and a new credit card as well as the effect it might
have on future job applications
