Here is some background for my question; I have a Software
Engingeering bachelors and have just completed an MBA. I have worked
as a programmer, network admin. and am currently a Database admin. I
started and sold a lawn maint. business when I was younger (which now
grosses over $1 mil) and have run government contracts.
Having just read "What color is your parachute?" I think I have found
a position that I would thoroughly enjoy. It is a position for a
venture capital associate that has an in-depth knowledge of technology
and an MBA.
I have applied to this position, but would like to contact other
firms.
The question is:
What is the best way to approach these VC firms, with a cover and resume
or is there a better way? Also, is there a certain size firm that would be
most apt to hire a technical associate?
